Common Questions

Where exactly is Campfire Hollow?

Eagle Rock, Missouri — in the southern Ozarks near the Barry/McDonald county line. It's about 25 minutes from Eureka Springs, AR and 1 hour from Branson, MO.

Is the bathroom in the dome?

The bathroom is in a separate Wash House a short walk from the dome. It has 2 toilets, a hot shower, vanity, and washer/dryer. Clean, private, and well-lit at night.

Can we actually access Table Rock Lake?

Yes! Two private guest-only trails wind through the property down to the lake. Bring water shoes — the shoreline is rocky. Best swimming is in the mornings.

Is Campfire Hollow pet-friendly?

Yes! Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please let Justin know when booking and keep them leashed on the trails near the water.

What's the cancellation policy?

Check the Airbnb listing for the current cancellation policy. Generally a moderate policy applies — full refund if cancelled several days before check-in.

What should I bring?

Water shoes for the lake, your own kayak or fishing gear if you want (or rent locally), groceries from Cassville before arriving, bug spray for evening fire pit sessions, and a sense of adventure.

Is there cell service?

Cell coverage is spotty in the hollow. The dome has WiFi and WiFi calling works well. It's actually a nice excuse to disconnect.

How many people can stay?

Up to 4 guests. The dome has a queen bed plus a queen air mattress. Perfect for couples, families with kids, or two couples.
